Classification of Mycobacterilum farcinogenes and Mycobacterilum senegalense by Immunodiffusion and Thin-layer Chromatography of Long-chain Components

چکیده
Comparative immunodiffusion studies and thin-layer chromatographic analyses of wholeorganism acid methanolysates were performed on 3 7 strains of Mycobacterium farcinogenes, Mycobacterium senegalense and Nocardia farcinica. The latter were clearly distinguished from the mycobacteria in containing a single mycolic acid methyl ester and showing more precipitinogens with nocardial than with mycobacterial and rhodococcal reference systems. The distribution of precipitinogens showed that M . farcinogenes and M. senegalense were very closely related and that both showed a greater affinity to Mycobacterium fortuitum than to any of the other established species of Mycobacterium tested. The complex pattern of a-mycolates and characteristic polar mycolates found in both M. farcinogenes and M. senegaleme has only previously been found in M. fortuitum and Mycobacterium smegmatis.

متن کاملNumerical classification of Mycobacterium farcinogenes, Mycobacterium senegalense and related taxa.
Sixteen strains designated Mycobacterium farcinogenes, fifteen Mycobacterium senegalense, and ten Nocardia farcinica were, together with strains of Mycobacterium and Nocardia, subjected to numerical phenetic analyses using 96 unit characters. The data were examined using the simple matching (SSM), Jaccard (SJ) and pattern (DP) coefficients and clustering achieved using the unweighted average li...
متن کاملDifferentiation between Mycobacterium farcinogenes and Mycobacterium senegalense strains based on 16S-23S ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacer sequences.
16S ribosomal DNA (rDNA) and 16S-23S internal transcribed spacer rDNA sequence analyses were performed on Mycobacterium farcinogenes and M. senegalense strains and 26 strains of other rapidly growing mycobacteria to investigate the phylogenetic structure of bovine farcy mycobacteria within the M. fortuitum complex. M. farcinogenes and M. senegalense were indistinguishable in their 5"-end 16S rD...
متن کاملCurrent Perspectives on Mycobacterium farcinogenes and Mycobacterium senegalense, the Causal Agents of Bovine Farcy
Mycobacterium farcinogenes and M. senegalense are the causal agents of bovine farcy, a chronic, progressive disease of the skin and lymphatics of zebu cattle. The disease, which is prevalent mainly in sub-Saharan Africa, was in earlier times thought to be caused by Nocardia farcinica and can be described as one of the neglected diseases in cattle. Some aspects of the disease have been investiga...

Background & Objective: Today, in order to maintain or improve the appearance, composition, flavor and nutritional value for food, compounds called additive are added, that they lead to complications in the human body, which the colors are only one of these substances. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of consuming colors in saffron foods in Fasa in 1397 by thin layer chromat...
